First Blog Entry

Americans have a long and proud tradition of finding creative methods to save time and money. For this blog, I would like my readers to send in their favorite time and money saving tips and I will post them in this blog.

Here are a couple of tips to get started: 1. Try to live as close to your work as possible. You will save thousands of dollars on gasoline and maintenance costs. Not to mention the time, aggravation (and danger) of long commutes. Many people move to the suburbs to escape the city and are surprised when their chosen suburb becomes as congested as any city.

2.Buy a home that is constructed to the most stringent energy efficiency standards. You will save thousands in utility costs over the life of the house and an energy efficient home will have more value long-term.
